The Most Important Thing Above All Else
The important thing above all else
Is to truly know your self.
If you seek what is true
What would you have to lose?
Is only truth your battle cry
Or do you find comfort in a lie?
Is here where you want to be
Or is there more you want to see?
Do people feel you have achieved
Or think you less than you believe?
If your life was finished today
What would others say?
Do these questions cause offense
Or do they make perfect sense?
The important thing above all else
Is to truly know your self.
