The Most Imperfect Storm

words fly in the air like clouds
crashing together with thunder
feelings reach higher altitudes
rain fills my eyes with disbelief
lungs heavy
weighed down with words unsaid
dripping wet with emotions
swimming in yesterdays sorrows
waiting for the lightning that will awaken my freedom
the most imperfect storm

Great metaphor that you started in the first line, and maintained all the way through. This is Free Verse, if you like to know the correct poetry form. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
