The Morning Scene

The Morning Scene(double Tanka)

Sky looks bright and clear,
A deer stares at me gaily,
~gale wind blows the trees;
as I entered the backyard,
The ground covered with green weeds.

Weeds are entangled
with cobwebs spread like fish nets;
The canary sings,
~branches move to the rhythm,
and the breeze whistles along.
