The moon between us

Two weeks without you broke me
Your shadow in my room
Thoughts of her by your side
Had me staring at the moon

I kept my phone on silent
Still heard your name in my head
When I heard your voice, baby
My heart skipped dead

Are you looking up right now?
Same moon, different town
Tell me what it means
When you let me fall down

Are you looking at the moon too?
Are you thinking what I do?
Me and you
Me and you

Do you love me, do you care?
Are you feeling me out there?
Me and you
Me and you (me and you)

I hear you’re back in town now
And still you don’t call
Then I saw that picture
And it hit me like a wall

You and that Trollope smile
Like a plan I wasn’t shown
But maybe you left that trail
So I could find my way home

If it’s meant to be us
Why you making me wait?
Say the word, baby
Don’t make my heart break

Are you looking at the moon too?
Are you thinking what I do?
Me and you
Me and you

Do you love me, do you care?
Are you feeling me out there?
Me and you
Me and you (me and you)

I don’t want the almost
I don’t want the maybes
Say you felt it too
Say you’ve been missing me

If you’re on the other side
Looking through the same sky
Come back to me, baby
Come back tonight

Are you looking at the moon too?
Are you thinking what I do?
Me and you
Me and you

Do you love me, do you care?
Are you feeling me out there?
Me and you
Me and you (me and you)
