The Moon and You
The moon that bleeds so, midnights light
Aloft, it summons view
A canvas of stars, twinkling this night
Casts now, a shaded hue
A deeply romantic walk, indeed,
Hand in hand, on we go
We see the moon that so does bleed
As the stars provide their show
Upon your face, I now set gaze
Lost, in the sparkling of your eyes
As fires rage, heart’s set ablaze
As feelings now cannot disguise
For here upon this moonlit eve
As we so walk then hand in hand
I give my love, be not deceived
For you give life unto this man
