The Moon

The moon was barely out for such a dark night
It hardly seen me under the stars in the middle of existence,
The moon barely seen me breathe as I'm trying to live
Rarely the moon is so occurring other than to astrophysics
Merely this is a coincidence as I look up at the moon still unnoticed by it
Solely it sees me and my existence
Simply it has to notice me
Clearly, it catches a glimpse of me as I peek back
I wait patiently for the moon to see me as the moon was barely out

Unique in both its singularity and 'familiar peculiarity,' if that resonates. Two thumbs up. Write on! Thanks, Gershon
