The Monster That Smiles
good to be back
but still be lost in the
monster that smiles
though bashful i am
i am loquacious when
a patterned rain falls
the angels call me captain
however God calls me His son
i think i prefer the latter....less pressure
so grateful to be in one piece
but still be a jovial jigsaw puzzle
in the monster that smiles
though harmonically shy i am
i am a beast in steady rapidity
when a decorative storm bellows
its declaration
the angels call me general
however God says He loves me
i think i prefer the latter....less pressure....
