The Monster I Once Loved

Imprisoned was i
By false beauty light
Fell down dead from fright
The man I cared for not a mon at all
But a devil wearing humans skin
Delighting in earthly pleasures
Offering cursed gifts with pretty treasures.
No man could be so cruel.
To imprison me within a fake house
He offered me the world
But it was a world of lies,
How could I have believed this devil?
