lived 
the 
Class 
A 
lifestyle 
for 
some 
25 
long 
years,
I've 
got 
the 
scars 
to 
prove 
it 
and 
the 
bloodshot 
eyes 
from 
tears,
I 
spend 
my 
days 
with 
no 
one 
though 
I'm 
not 
alone 
I'd 
say,
There's 
a 
comrade 
who's 
behind 
me 
and 
he's 
never 
far 
away,
He's 
always 
there 
reminding 
me 
and 
never 
cuts 
no 
slack,
Wont 
you 
let 
me 
introduce 
you 
to 
the 
monkey 
on 
my 
back,
We 
two 
have 
been 
inseperable 
since 
I 
got 
on 
the 
gear,
If 
I'm 
honest 
cant 
imagine 
life 
without 
my 
monkey 
near,
He's 
the 
only 
source 
of 
comfort

seek 
out 
when 
days 
are 
grim,
The 
one 
that

depend 
upon 
best 
friends

me 
and 
him,
When 
there's

a 
single 
soul 
this

Guaranteed

turn

monkey 
friend

there,

morning

awoke

seek

better 
life

me,

parting 
company

monkey 
friend

me,

sure 
he'll 
do

utmost

convince

doubt),
That

crumble 
soon

there

cannot 
live 
without,

sweet 
narcotic 
kisses

through 
the 
night,
Its 
true 
when

great 
he

appear 
and 
make them 
right,
But

blinded

for

enough 
the 
truth

time

build

strength

monkey 
friend 
break 
free,

embark

Heroin 
or 
Crack,
Be 
careful
