The Moment Passed
I was lost within the rhythmic dancing
Pulsating flames held my gaze,
Each waving tip I found entrancing
As I stared into the glowing blaze.
Radiant warmth filled the room
Comforting as a mothers arms,
The flames and I seemed to commune
I was lost in thought, far from harm.
There I sat, my mind elsewhere
'Twas just a fire, but held me fast
No train of thought I just stared,
The flames then died, the moment passed.
