The Moment Is Now

It seems opportunity rarely knocks at a favorable time
and sometimes only knocks but once.
Burned into each memory is such a time,
when opportunity perhaps knocked,
and we answered not the door.
We put something temporarily on the back burner,
to await a more favorable time,
which likely never came.
