The Mole
I hide inside where it is safe,
put up a wall that you can't break.
So hard and thick this wall I've built,
from years of hurt and worthless guilt.
But you, you sneaky little mole,
you've found a crack, you've found a hole.
Seeping slowly I'll let you in,
To my safety net within.
Once inside you must beware,
I am fragile handle with care.
If you ever hurt me know,
to the other side you will go.
I'll patch that hole, I'll patch that crack,
and you will never make it back.
