The Modest Businessman

The modest businessman There was a man who opened up an elegant shop selling beautiful Italian shoes but few people came. Why don`t people come to my shop, Did he ask? You have to advertise your shop in the papers or print leaflets and hand them around, What about words of mouth, he asked? That will only reach your family, they can`t go on buying shoes especially since they prefer clogs. Crushed that people didn`t want to buy his shoes he fell into a deep depression when the bank foreclosed he hanged himself, and I’ve been wondering who took over his collection of excellent Italian shoes?
