The Moderators

The Moderators
(Republican debate 10/28)
By Franklin Price
10/29/2015

The moderators were not debaters
They were not supposed to be
Should have controlled and asked the questions
Not to agree or disagree

Should have taken answers given
And moved on to the next
Why they chose there to participate
Has me really very vexed

The evidence was plenty
Moderators there to stir the pot
Directly Bait debaters
To develop their own plot

Debaters stood up to them
Tried to keep things pertinent
Tried to address this country's issues
Those they would face as president

Moderators tried to cut them off
Did not want to hear their views
Strife among the candidates
Raises ratings makes better news

To me control and questioning
Was a joke that was not fun
I'm sure the debaters were sick of it
Long before the night was done

If candidates are serious
About a win election day
The next debate get moderators
Who will keep out of the way

Glad you agree. It was pretty evident what was going on. Such a shame.
