The Mist

I am lost in a dense mist,
Everything seems Smokey and weird.
I shiver and tighten my fist,
Not a single soul to be heard.
I tremble and fall,
but no one to hold me.
I scream aloud,
but no one to hear me.
Where have I landed?
Where do I stand?
Where are my loved ones?
Helpless I feel…without a helping hand.
I sit under this barren tree,
No shade n no fruit,
My life, it seems like,
Everything lifeless n mute.
Death is only what I wish for,
as nothing for me is left now.
Take me in your lap oh fiery death!
As I surrender my life to thou.

Very nice Caroline very nice. But death is an act of God's will, over something we have no will;if life was never changing....it would be standing still. May the verse of wisdom pour forth from the core of your heart, let your poems be brightened with the skill in your beautiful art. God Bless, Prince
