The Missing Pizzas

The pizza delivery truck
Crashed into the bay
Along with delivery guy
Three pizzas one stuffed crust did flay

Five full grown sharks and one baby
Upon the beach did lie
Soaking up the sun with round bellies
And nap flipping flies

While the news broadcast the tale
About the missing pizzas.......
And that poor pizza delivery guy..
That news reporter a real diva

She could not see the scene
Beneath the blue bay
Where tiny fish still ate the crumbs
Left by the sharks at play

The feeding frenzy still goes on
under the blue water
The driver swam to shore death spared
Now kissed by an otter

I've just read a great Poem by Robert Pettit on "Mercy for the Pizza Delivery" and now I found this jewel. This is a fun and fantastic piece. Truly glad I clicked on it.

Dear Sara, I had some great laughs reading this poem and am delighted the driver was spared so he could receive the otter's kiss. This must be fiction, right? I can't imagine the rotund sharks flopping on the sand. What a great sense of humor you have! Love, carolyn

Haha, too funny, Sara. So that pizza man delivered the sharks some pizzas! Wonder if the sharks like them, lol :)
