The Mirror

A broken mirror
bits and pieces
scattered everywhere
An obstacle that
cannot be passed
A reflection of
a deformed smile
 deformed eyes
a monster out of nowhere
harshness-why, could and should
An enemy

An unbroken mirror
bits and pieces
a puzzle glued together
An obstacle that
can be passed
A reflection of
a placid smile
a light in the eyes
A Madame Bovary
of the past
Who is she?
What does she want?
Forgiveness in the heart
A new friend to be

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
