THE MIND

Be careful of your mind
Trust me,it can bind
Maybe cords you won't find
But I tell you, those are the worse kind

Consequences as hot as coal
Regret is the end goal
Possibilities of loosing your soul
Leaves you shocked like an electric pole

Happiness can go a long way
Keep that demon at bay
And at the end of the day
I feel good is all you will say

So true! I like the line, "Maybe cords you won't find". It's hard work sometimes but this poem really speaks the truth.
