The Milky Way
THE MILKY WAY
Under a canopy of pastel blue
Soft feathered clouds passing through
Hovering was a white haze
To lessen the blaze of the rays.
Frothy smooth and dreamy
A sky rich and creamy
Nature unfurled the Milky Way
Creating a most delicious day
Through the sky it gently swirled
Into the dipper it whirled
Overflowing a steady stream
Of lithe luscious cosmic cream
Love’s spirit spilled over the top
So much love in every drop
Nourishing each and everyone
Warmed by the rising sun
Take some time for a brief gaze
Look beyond the lucent haze
Each new day is a special day
Drink the drops of the Milky Way.
