The Might of Light

THE MIGHT OF LIGHT

Rise and shine, O desperate sun,
As the sudden call arise,
Remain in dusty clouds up high,
Till sorrows of night get aside.

Rise and shine, O tempting sun,
Let man be his own king,
Make not him befall for riches,
Forgetting his own ring.

Rise and shine, O generous sun,
Get the fodders alive again,
Them looking for smile with lips in terror,
In spite of dark array.

Rise and shine, O malicious sun,
Your common look with desire,
Be the rains of bless upon,
Nor any ball of fire.

Rise and shine, O mighty sun,
Pray your light boon us sure,
Those blasts away from your hailing showers,
Bring peace among them all.
