The Middle Man

I tell him what you want me to
Cause I've always been your friend
But can't you see it hurts me?
And soon, it has to end

Sometimes I feel invisible
When you tell me of your love
But It's not me who has your heart
It's him, you're speaking of

I give him all your messages
When you've sealed it with a kiss
I tell him of your loneliness
But pretend, it's me you miss

My heart's forever breaking
Each time I see you smile
Even though It belongs to him
I live in blind denial

He treats you like you don't exist
But you could be my queen
I'm the one you're lookin for
I'm standing in between

How much longer can this last?
I'm doing the best I can
I'm tired of him feeling your love
While, I'm just, the middle man

What an unfortunate situation. A very despairing positiion to be in. Sad story.
