The Messiah
The Messiah hides in you, not hidden inside
of clouds
Save yourself from falling rain by having faith in him
that's hidden within the shroud
He's with you through all the weather guiding your
eyes throughout the storm
She's your comfort when you're in need & your covering
when you feel worn
She's the mother of your inner child, raising you up
until you're strong
He shows you what's right with hopes you'll follow
but still loves you when you're wrong
She baptized you inside the womb way before the
water broke
The dams are meant to hold & keep you in place
but you must detach the yoke
Listen to the voice inside of you, the one speaking
from your core
It's been with you since the beginning & is your
companion evermore
Look to it when you struggle to see, as it sees things
that you cannot
The 2nd coming is a birth within the self & the unveiling
of the plot
You were born in the image of likeness, so you were that
before you came
We're all scattered pieces in the puzzle of life longing
to be whole just the same
