The Mercy of Heaven

The sheer will of the stars aligned. The wrath and woe of fates collide, As the devils steal away our lives, The hymns and prayers became our knives. Treacherous though evil may be, Yet, it still couldn't stand before me. As I read the verses, I thought Of the peace and serenity god has brought. I was safe as I could be As liberty sprung around me. At last, I found the truth, My prayers had borne fruits.
