The Mentor
A paradigm of greatness
Is dependent on personal assessment
It can't be impugned upon
A parameter bestowed upon me a person making a choice.
Freedom of choice is God given!
The criteria of my choice
Is based on a logical reason
From the generally accepted to specific idiom
Personal knowledge of the person is the paramount basis
No amount of hearsay, speculation or jaundiced biases
A closet whose ajarred door can't be scrutinized.
He's my mentor where it touched my heart
Where he changed me from better to best
Where he imparted me with great virtues
Virtues that catapulted me into a pedestal
Where he has left a niche into my heart
That never can be erased and surpassed
Where my feelings, my dealings
And my unforgettable experience shall remain
As time goes by and as life goes on!
