The Mayan Day of Doom Is Drawing Near

The Mayan Day of Doom Is Drawing Near

By Elton Camp

In case the big uproar you don’t remember
The end of the world is the 21st of December

At least that what some claim the Mayans say
While others insist they didn’t mean it that way

Still, some folks just a bit still may believe
Special knowledge the Mayans did receive

An idea that with laughter could make me choke
Is if it was possible to carry out the following joke

When December 21st finally does come around
Power, water, cable, TV should be shut down

One hour would be entirely long enough
To sure scare those who believe such stuff

Hey Cynthia, Thanks for commenting. I do mainly humor writing as we already have a sea of woe in the online writing field. The great majority of what I write is found at Scribd.com where I can include pictures. Elton

I believe we have at least 3,000 years before the end of the world and 3,000 years is a long long long time. I say the world will end in January 5050.
