The Mask We All Wear

The existence and reality of who we truly are
The reflection we see everyday
The villain we choose to hide
The two sided coin we cannot ignore
The monster which continues to roar
Hatred we cannot hide nor ignore
For centuries hatred has been the key factor for war
Mankind is always searching and wanting more
Until the color of one skin is no longer significant
Hatred will be the key factor for war
Mankind will still explore and even lie for more
Until all race
Respect and regard the human race
And understands there is no inferior race
Hatred will be the key factor for strife and war
Mankind will still invade
Continue to kill and trade
Until the human race acknowledges
That there is no such thing as a superior race
Research and embrace all of the human race
Mankind will continue to fight and try to erase
Equal opportunities will only remain but an illusion
To be followed but never obtained
Until human captivity has been abolish and abandon
Destroyed and dismantle
Hatred will remain the key factor for war
Mankind will continue to plot and fight for even more
Hatred in the East
Hatred in the west
Hatred at it's best
Isn't time we learn to unite and give it a rest
