The Mask

Inside my heart is crying
My mind is spinning
I cannot move
Outside I am smiling
You are speaking
I am laughing
Inside I am gasping for air
I am desperate
My heart is panicked
Outside I am nodding
You’re saying good bye
I watch you leave
Inside I’m running
I screaming for you
I can’t let go
Outside I’m waving
You’re walking away
We both are smiling
Inside I am hurt
I am dying
I am done
Outside nothing happened
I am picking flowers
But I couldn’t stop that tear
