The Man With One Eye
I met a man not long ago
Who had a funny mark:
He only had one eye, you see,
But his demand was stark.
He said to me, “Now listen here,
You silly, little man.
Make one remark about my eye
And I’ll cut off your hand.”
It struck me odd that he said this,
And here, I’ll tell you why.
It struck me odd because the man
Was handless, left and right.
