The Man That Can

You closed the door and never came back
Then you made me realize the things I lack
I have to open my eyes to see my flaws
I have to open my ears to hear the call
Lead me where it may I will go with faith
I will go easy and confident and I will not be afraid
The days will be long the nights will be cold
I will find the truth wrong and lies so bold
I will fix what I see wrong
That has been needed for so long
Someday the world be set straight
And I’m not going to sit here and wait
When you come back I’ll be a changed man
The one you made realize he can do what no other man can

This piece is very passionate. I love every bit of it… In fact I must say that you’ve got a golden pen…. Sometimes we get rejected for our inadequacies and we learn from such and become a changed person. Someday the world be set strait And I’m not going to sit here and wait When you come back I’ll be a changed man The one you made realize he can do what no other man can. This form of this poem is verse. So change the “I do not know” I will add this to my favorites.Love Leke

Love it. Congratulations. The best gift someone can give us, sometimes, is a good look at ourselves.

The flow of this poem is excellent. It flows like a songs of praise. Naturally, some are capable of accomplishing what others were unable to do. There is a gift in that, which requires understanding and patience from both sides. Great job and welcome to the Soup! ~Joseph

a great poem full of dedication, a dedication to be a changed man and with the faith you mention you most certainly can, we can do all things through him that gives us strength, the old saying used to be you can if you think you can but Gods' promise is far greater ad is the truth, you can because God said that you can, Amen my friend, have agreat journey walking with the Lord, God bless you from diane
