The Man In the Moon
Everyone’s heard of the Man in the Moon
So often portrayed as a lonely buffoon
Whilst gazing up high I peruse the night sky
Through my powerful telescope I suddenly espy
To my utter delight in the depths of the night
I see her and watch as she glides into sight
As they walk hand in hand by the light of the Moon
My heart skips a beat as together they swoon
Feeling happier knowing the Man’s not alone
The Man has a Lady who is sharing his home
And feeling so honoured to have witnessed sheer bliss
I bid them goodnight as I blow them a kiss
