The Man In the Mirror

the man in the mirror
has seen many thing
sometimes horror
he has witness the death of many
trapped in his brain
he cant feel or see anything
for he is just all in pain
he had to sit there
watch his parents die
from a kidnapping
were he was left alive
the man in the mirror
has had hard times
been hit and bruised
the kidnapper once said
" you got nothing to lose
why dont you just die alone?"
the man didnt give up
for he knew what was right
he kept alive
even though there was pain inside
he lost his family
due to some things stupid
money and greed
killers of the soul
he didnt let his life go to waste
he lived for his parents
and for his family
the man in the mirror is not a hero
but an inspiration
that all should keep on going
even though they lost everything
if i were the man in the mirror
i wouldnt want to try
but to see him get up again
is a big surprise
he stood up
and fought the kidnapper
and set himself free
now he is a psychologist
with a PHD
he helps kids
which had the same fate
or similar experiences
that he could relate
now he is a hero
saving kids every day
from the abnormal
abnormal pain
and the discomfort
he is a hero
with out a cape

Dylan....this is a great write. I'm so proud of you. Keep writing. It is easy to give up...it takes courage to stop being the victim and take charge of your life. Great write. Hugs form Auntie
