The Man In the Middle
THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE
One day many years ago
Three men were crucified
Two of them were thieves
Who cheated, stole, and lied
The third man was innocent
But for His love of man He died
His mother was watching, helplessly
John, a faithful disciple was by her side
One thief railed on the Man in the middle
The other thief did not
Instead, he reminded the reviling thief
They both deserved what they got
Remember me, Lord, when you enter Your Kingdom
The Man in the middle was nice
He compassionately said to the thief
Today you will be with Me in Paradise
The Man in the middle breathed His last
They buried Him in a borrowed grave
Three days later, He arose to life
To receive whom He came to save
So if you trust the Man in the middle
The Man they call Jesus Christ
You, like the thief on the right
Will spend eternity in Paradise
