The Man In My Life

There’s a very special man in my life
He doesn’t expect anything from me
And I’m accepted just the way I am

A man who cares for me very deeply
Someone who laughs with me when I mess up
And appreciates me for what I provide

I’m a woman who’s in need of so little
So many times unsure of myself
He gives me the confidence that I had lost

Deep within my soul I sense his presence
Feeling very much alone when we’re apart
Lost in his love when our bodies embrace

Some will search their entire lifetime
For what I have already found
He’s the only gift I’ll ever truly need
