The Makings of a Messiah
The makings of a Messiah,
It’s not an ordinary feat,
It takes the lion-hearted to ascend the seat,
It’s not for the unopposed.
The makings of a Messiah,
It’s a higher calling,
Even when the elements are falling,
Purpose is an overwhelming push.
The makings of a Messiah,
Shrivelled like a flower in the heat,
Awakened by heaven's dew,
The unseen is the envoy.
The makings of a Messiah,
Unknown are the battles,
There’s a burning quest,
Courage will aid the conquest.
