The Maker of Beauty
Look around this battered old world
despite it's state beauty still radiates
this at it's chosen moments appear
so effecting upon one it permeates
God himself designs it by his hand
no other could perfect such imagery
mountain tops down to deepest valleys
pictured behold the purest divinity
The human heart can't begin to consider
all that the great creator made anew
except this designer has set eternity
in the human heart no need to queue
This all leaves indeed a vital question
how's this God able to sovereignly bring?
from beginning to end eternity's vastness
revealing it's permanence like endless string
Ponder much on God's handiwork
so difficult to fathom all of this
setting eternity within the human soul
makes one receive such heavenly bliss
("He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has from beginning to end.")
Ecclesiastes 3: 11
