The Majesty of Spring
The spring appears after a long cold winter,
The snow has melted away.
Beginning of a brand new day,
Even the ice on the sidewalks is gone.
The air is fresh and clean, warming as the sun rises,
Branches of the trees resplendent,
The buds on the trees are slowly evolving,
Revealing leaves that unravel with the sunlight.
Slow to reveal the blossoms of the apple tree,
Beautiful and rose pink in appearance,
There are many different kinds of trees,
The evergreen, spruce and pine, and enhanced green.
Lawns appear a lush green from the faded grass,
Dandelions a bright yellow with perfect spheres.
Spring gardens forever lovely,
With tulips and crocuses, snowdrops and lilacs.
The walk amongst God's kingdom,
Parents and children appreciating God.
