The Maiden Speech
My school had conducted an oratorical competition No one had given his or her name. I was forced to participate in it by my master. I had no idea about the up-coming disaster
Small Saving was the topic, master said politely At that stage I didn't know more about the topic Anyhow I went to the library and gathered points. I stood before the mirror and did rehearsal too.
My father shouted at me when the time was twelve I was awakened by my mother in the morning My elder brother asked me,did you prepare well. I nodded and moved towards the school life a snail
The competition was held at four o'clock exactly
Many participants had come to my school. I stepped on the stage when my name was called I stood like a statue and I had forgotten everything.
One of the judges had advised me to take the paper and read I felt shy, no other way than to read the essay Most of my friends ridiculed and laughed at me. The master said Failure is the stepping stone to success.
