The Magic Potion
The cauldron in heat fumes with alchemy chemicals,
Careful she decides to spread her witches’ stronghold,
To the palace walls and the kingdom she learns to control;
Mixture for His Highness the Emperor she would soon wed.
Not a soul would dare cross swords with her magical power,
And the ones that did perish in the castle's old dungeons,
Never saw day light as they grew old and weak in their death.
The king obeys each wish and command she chooses to give.
Few drops from her potion and the king would lust to marry,
Making her dignified empress queen in this land of noble knights,
Her only obstacle, the knight she loved chasing the princess;
It would break her heart to destroy his youthful ecstasy.
In a goblet she presents His Majesty her recipe,
The loyal warrior knight confiscates the liqueur to drink,
Drawing his sword he grabs and captures the sorceress;
Taking her away never to be seen in the kingdom:
