The Magic of Night
In a flash of night
A streak of light shines down upon us
Stars gaze from the heavens
Looking over the earth
The moon, hiding from the sun
Takes in her own glory
The comets move like arrows
Forming their own trajectory
There is a silent hum of the buzzing planets
As they sing their own
Idiosyncratic melody
Nocturnal angels whisper
Gossiping about the eternity that is our sky
They gather around saying blessing
And prayers for our earth
Illuminance spreads over the infinite universe
The brilliant lights sparkling in the air
God makes plans for the following day
All is well...
