The Loving Team

When your down our skies are darkest grey,

flowers droop their pretty heads, birds don't sing,

sunlight turns to rain, sorrow fills our day,

children stop joyful play, church bells don't ring,

days seem so long, nights seem even longer,

filling time that we thought was oh so short,

could be true our past life we did squander,

but if we try, all the wrongs we can sort,

we can turn dark grey skies back to blue

make roses bloom, sun flowers smile, trees sway,

Turn rain drops into tears of joy so true

Put smiles on children's faces, so let's say

Our time on Earth is so Precious, let's dream

Of wonderful times, we're the loving team.
