A child of the Living King A tune of praise she'll often sing Her cup filled with the Living Water She shares with all, She's the King's daughter Dancing from poem to poem, Like a butterfly serenely The poetess Regina Humble, yet so queenly A child of the Living King A tune of praise she'll often sing A lilt of joy within her praises She shares with all, His banner raises Pouring gently from her flow Of beauty that we always know Flows genuinely from her soul Serving Him, her upward goal A child of the Living King A tune of praise she'll often sing Lifting hearts, we sense a smile That shines out as we read awhile River flowing poem by poem, His kingdom vast, her heart His home Sharing joy, faith, hope and peace Her lovely writings do not cease A child of the Living King A tune of praise she'll often sing To read her poems, is; o' my gosh We love Regina McIntosh! This is a lovely paean to a great poetess. I wonder how poets like Regina and Beata connect everything to God ! Truly they are moved by the Holy Spirit and they sing eternally of the glory of God. Love your great tribute to a great poetess !

Oh, my goodness... how amazed and honored and humbled I am!!! I so wish I'd seen this earlier so I could have told you how deeply I am touched... beyond words!!! WOW. I feel so so so amazed and blessed. I can't possibly put words to how grateful I am for this lovely poem that is so beautiful and blessed and fills my heart with a warmth I can't possibly explain. I'm so glad your poem is a blessing to you Regina. I am so deeply blessed by so many of your poems. I have told my husband that though Emily Dickinson has long been my best loved poetess, she stands now side by side with Regina, he agrees. You bless him so much as I read your poems to him. I know, she truly is amazing. I want to find her books that she has published, her poems are absolutely precious treasure! She is up there in my favorite poets of all time. I believe Gina is probably one who will follow in the footsteps of some of our most beloved poets, long remembered. She is a precious lady for certain!

Thank you Alexis! She truly does shine for God, you can feel the Holy Spirit flowing through so many of her poems. She has been a beautiful beacon of light flowing from the source that is in her heart. I'm so glad you like this poem in her honor <3 I'm glad to know you too share the faith and joy we have in our wonderful God. I love how she portrays the Joy of our Lord!

She is so very kind and sweet. It is refreshing to read her delightful poems. When I found this site, I was amazed by the poets here on the soup. The wonderful classic poets I've always adored have my deepest love and respect for life, but many of the poets in Poetry Soup are rising stars for future generations. She is an inspiration, and what a blessing! Sometimes my husband will sit next to be as I 'unwrap' her poetry for the first time, sharing with him. Her poems are like pleasant gifts :)
