The Love of a Child
Nothing is more rewarding
than the love of a child.
From the day they are born
to their very first smile
Dependent on us
they seem to find their way.
Through trial and error
as they grow by the day.
Being a Mother my self
I am blessed with one little girl.
With pretty auburn curls
and a smile that melts my heart.
She fill my heart with her laughter
and my soul with her songs.
Though silly at times
it is hard to catch her off guard.
I enjoy all those moments
she spends with me.
I am happy when she is
and I am here when she is not.
My precious angel
the treasure in my world.
