The Love of a Burdened Soul

When pain mixes with pleasure therein lies a river, Moving water that carries the emotion of memories faded, Lost in time Buried within mind Lying in wait to remind how love may strip you limb by limb every time. As these lost parts are never found We move from saints to thieves Replacing what we need with the parts of who they are meant to be. As if ripping cotton from their sleeves a midst a winter storm in which all we see is broken limbs and falling leaves, We dance a dance meant to be done by the burning hands of hellish fiends. Standing face to face with liquid pain frozen to our cheeks, We continue this dance in aquatic reign from places meant to see.
