The Love Letter

Tonight I write a letter I mail it to myself I blow away the dust and place it on our shelf Tonight I mail a letter Address it~ 'To my dove' Pretending it is you Still sending out your love Pretending its your musky scent that smudged my silent verse Pretending,Make believe that we preserved the years Those years when you have loved me till stars forgot to dream till the dark side of the moon uncloaked the calla lily's dew~pearled sheen Tonight I write a letter I mail it to myself I blow away the dust and put it on our shelf Just a sweet reminder of who we used to be before with empty sheets your cold night covered me Tonight I write a letter I mail it to myself I blow away the dust and put it off our shelf.

You write a sad brand of beautiful. Your mantle should be brimming with letters from the man you love. A soul as beautiful as yours should be appreciated.

The transition of mood and mentality at the very end implies a fatslism in the romsnce Charma, there is a strength in the moment, as well as a sadness. When a love makes you feel protractedly weak,I suppose one must say Goodbye in all respects, in order to achieve a new, positive balance.I hope I'm never in this predicament eith the woman I love, but if need be I will find the courage to do so, I dont want to imagine that now. The star/moon metaphors are very pretty and have diverse meaning J.A.B.

You write with such tender sweetness, my dear. Mesmerizing. Hauntingly sad...
