The Lost You

i found, i felt and i lost
in a way that kept me incomplete.
its presence was like a shooting star
beautiful, blazing and impeccable
but vanished in a jiffy
like it was mine just to see
but never to belong to.
i look for it every night
in the darkest corner of heavens
in the brightest brilliant specks of light.
i run in hysterics
chasing the infinite void
just to find you smiling
in the shedded teardrops
of my hopeless heart.
