The Lost Shepherd

They say when a sheep is lost
the shepherd goes after it.
But what happens
when the shepherd is lost?

A table before us!
cries the wolf
A feast without stop!
Screams the bear.

They say there is no shepherd
without a flock.
But what happens to sheep
without shepherd?

They grow extra horns
they go longer miles
the greens are at stake
and soon they are on a stake!
