The Lost Light
This is a story too difficult to tell
It makes my eyes well
But to the world it must be said
For a saint is lying slain
Her life diminished by a villain
She was the light of the society
Sent to university to deliver them from misery of poverty
She was the only oasis that was at all times handy
But last night, the village was sent into plight
The light went out and oasis dried, we all cried.
Wailing and sorrow has filed all of our soul
Losing the only heroine was not pain enough
Pain was losing what remained of her
And seeing the misery of her parents trying to look for their own
Among the many gunned down
This is a story too hard to tell,
But we’ll all take heart and hope all will be well
