The Lost

Oh to the missing of the broken-hearted
Loved so full and now departed
Many left of their own will
Others buried deeper still

A visit to the barren grave
Bouquet of flowers where they lay
Charmed words are spoken
As a longing chaste token

Of yesterday's and distant dreams
Unfinished plans cut short by schemes
Of natures' plan for you and I
My love for you will never die

Here I am and there I will be
Forever Love you will see
Uttered on deaf ears of time
True responses are just sublime

Thanks for the follow Kelli, my first, yay! Your sadness has inspired me to write a poem about my feelings and my close encounters with death. You will be mentioned in the title, thank YOU for the inspiration :)

Thank you Daniel. I always write in my mind. Just been too busy to put it down. It's fall now. Good to hear from you. Sometimes doom and gloom is just there. Xoxo
