The Loss

Constantly I feel the pain
Just like earth feels the rain
I still hear the echo of your voice
I still perceive the saint of your innocence

Even now, after people have paid their condolences
The river keeps rushing from my eyes
Why do you have to go?
Is this what eternity means?

Why go when you could have stayed?
I desperately need some answers
The iron of sorrow keeps stabbing my heart
Weakening it every moment

Why talk when i can not hear you anymore
remembering your word ignites fear in me
Our dreams, now a shattered pieces of hope
I just keep praying for the power to cope

And the rivers of tears to stop flowing
Your words are now like a fog
We are now worlds apart
One end for the living
The other for the dead

A very beautiful written poem, yeah when someone you loved so much went away from you the feeling almost feel physical and you yhink that you re finished and life became way more difficult to live however I m new on this site and have poems of similar category and would really appreciate if you could find time to read my poems and give your honest reviews about them
