The Lonely Tree
I stood, the lonely tree
In a forest of false faces
Turning into silence
Making use of empty spaces
Taller then the rest I stand
Looking out over many lies
A tapestry weaved of deception
Colliding to illude the eye
A bird perched on my shoulder
Sings to me a song of peace and joy
Bringing new found peace and life
That the evil try to destroy
The sweet melody speaks of hope
In a world that is quickly falling
It's a mournful cry for help
The children of the world it's calling
We stand now, a united forest
Listening to humanites cry for salvation
And we root ourselves in hope
All is takes is a dream and determination.
